Spring Trash Bash Events Scheduled for April 13

Longview residents are invited to participate in the Spring Trash Bash, Tire Recycling, and Electronics Recycling events from 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, April 13, 2013. Formerly known as the Citywide Cleanup, the Spring Trash Bash events are sponsored by the City of Longview and Keep Longview Beautiful

City of Longview Offices Closed for MLK Holiday

City offices and the Longview Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 21, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. Sanitation will pick up trash on Monday. Longview Transit will operate as normal.

City Encourages Recycling of Christmas Trees

Library, Sanitation & Recycling

Rather than send trees to the landfill after the holiday, the City of Longview encourages residents to give their real Christmas trees new purpose as compost or fish habitats. Please recycle between December 26 - January 11.

Holiday Trash Collection

Sanitation & Recycling

Sanitation will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25. No garbage will be collected on those days.

Eleven businesses and organizations joined together on Saturday, November 10th to recycle thousands of pounds of potential garbage at the first annual Longview Recycles Day event.
